Bulletproof Coffee 101

Bulletproof coffee has a lot of hype and with reason!


Here is how to make this brain fuel powerhouse and start feeling like a million bucks! (Courtesy of bulletproof.com)

Bulletproof Coffee Recipe

  1. Brew 1 cup (8-12 oz.) of coffee using filtered water, just off the boil, with 2 1/2 heaping tablespoons freshly ground Bulletproof Coffee Beans. (French Press is easiest.)
  2. Add in 1-2 tablespoons of Brain Octane™ to the hot coffee.  Start small and work your way up.
  3. Add 1-2 tablespoons grass-fed, unsalted butter like Kerrygold. You do not want to use salted, trust me.
  4. Mix it all in a blender for 20-30 seconds until it is frothy like a foamy latte
  5. Enjoy!

I personally love kicking off my day with protein and a good amount of healthy fats.  I’ll add a whey shake to this or some egg whites. If you haven’t tried low carb for breakfast I highly recommend it and see how you feel.  I have more energy and stay satisfied past 2 hours which is a rare occasion for me (always ready to woof down my next meal).
