Overnight Oats

Overnight oats take the cooking out of making oatmeal.  You’ll use old fashioned rolled oats and have them soak overnight in a mixture in the fridge.

You can use a mason jar, or order a few sealable jars from Amazon like the Wreck 742.

Ingredients:

½ cup rolled oats (not Quick Oats)

2/3 cup nonfat Fage Greek yogurt

2/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 T ground flaxseed

2 T unsweetened cocoa powder

5 drops vanilla Stevia sweet drops

Pinch of salt

1 T honey

1 T natural peanut butter (or any nut butter)

Directions:

Whisk together all of the ingredients in a bowl and place in jar. Seal lid tightly and refrigerate overnight.

Get creative with the ingredients; the sky is the limit with overnight oats!

Macros:

376 calories, 20.6 grams protein, 53 carbs, 11 grams fat

Lighter version:

use 1/3 cup rolled oats, sweeten with Joseph’s Sugar-Free Maple Syrup, sub the peanut butter for powdered PB
